Special

The Buick Special was part of the Century lineup as of 1975. The only body style was the 2-door coupe.This was the basic model with a 231 CID V6 as the only engine choice. A 3-speed manual or 3-speed automatic were the transmission choices. Very few options were available. Buyers had the choice of a vinyl bench seat, cloth bench seat, or vinyl bucket seats. Also to be considered was a vinyl top, and available bumper protection strips. AM/FM radio and air conditioning rounded out the option list.

The Special was restyled slightly for 1976. New fenders, headlamp arrangements, grille and taillights were the changes. 1977 was the final year for the Buick Special.
